Amarone Classico della Valpolicella DOCG
Food Pairings
Perfect with autumn dishes such as risottos, pappardelle, and meat-filled tortellini. It pairs beautifully with braised meats, game, aged cheeses, and spiced desserts like castagnaccio or a red berry tart.
After cold maceration and a long fermentation, the wine is aged for 30 months in second and third-passage French oak tonneaux, followed by an additional 8 months of bottle aging.
It shows a deep ruby red color with garnet reflections. On the nose, it releases intense aromas of ripe fruit such as raspberry, sour cherry in spirit, and plum, accompanied by spicy notes of nutmeg and vanilla. On the palate, it is elegant and intense, with soft, perfectly integrated tannins and a harmonious structure. The finish is long and persistent, with a perfect balance between power and elegance.
